Create tailored treatment strategies that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that target communication facets such as language, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing capabilities. Partner with allied healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family caregivers, to develop integrated care solutions. Provide educational resources to patients and families to ensure consistent support outside of clinical encounters. Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to guarantee smooth transitions throughout care processes. Document clinical observations and patient progress comprehensively, adhering to all relevant guidelines and standards. Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with new trends in speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Pursued a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills Deep familiarity with evidence-based practices across all patient ages, alongside an intricate understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
