Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Database Architect IV to join their team. As a Database Architect IV, you will be an integral part of the Information Technology department supporting database management and system optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to maintaining high system performance and resilience, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Database Architect IVLocation: Madison, WIContract on W2What's the Job? Administer SQL-server and Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and security. Perform database tuning and maintenance to guarantee high system availability and efficiency. Plan and execute disaster recovery tests, ensuring system resilience and data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related projects and initiatives. Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, implementing solutions promptly and effectively. What's Needed? Experience managing SQL-server and Oracle databases in a professional environment. Strong knowledge of database tuning, maintenance, and disaster recovery planning. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively during CST business hours (9:00 am - 3:00 pm or as defined by the hiring manager).
