Location: Huntsville, AL Facility: On-Site Security Clearance: Active Secret, TS eligible Travel: 10-15% Summary T2S Solutions is seeking an experienced RF Engineer / RF Technologist to support the integration, test, and operation of RF systems across spacecraft, payload, and ground segments. This exempt role is intended for early-career engineers or highly experienced RF technologists who understand RF fundamentals and can apply engineering principles in a mission-critical environment. The position is part of a larger RF Engineering staff and operations teams and provides increasing technical ownership over RF test setups and troubleshooting. Responsibilities? Apply engineering principles gained through formal education to exercise independent technical judgment when evaluating RF test results and identifying potential issues, escalating as appropriate. Configure, operate, and analyze RF test setups supporting spacecraft, payload, and ground system integration and test. Support RF subsystem integration, including antennas, transceivers, filters, LNAs, waveguides, and harnessing. Perform and interpret RF measurements such as S-parameters, insertion loss, VSWR, power levels, and spectral characteristics. Assist with end-to-end communications testing, including link verification and operational readiness checks. Troubleshoot RF anomalies and contribute to root-cause analysis in collaboration with senior RF engineers. Maintain RF configuration documentation, test results, and lab records. Support rapid prototype builds, hardware bring-up activities, and iterative system development. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field required; equivalent extensive professional experience may be considered only where the candidate demonstrates system-level RF engineering judgment. Experience supporting RF systems, testing, or integration. Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, including impedance matching, signal propagation, and basic modulation concepts. Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, and power meters. Ability to read and reason about RF schematics, block diagrams, and test procedures. Security clearance - Secret (required) Top Secret (preferred) - must be willing and able to obtain. Preferred Qualifications Experience with satellite communications systems, ground stations, or spacecraft RF subsystems. Familiarity with S-band, X-band, Ka-band, L-band and other high-frequency systems. Experience in EMI/EMC testing, shielding practices, and troubleshooting interference. Background in manufacturing or prototype assembly of aerospace hardware. Experience with automated test setups or scripting tools.
