Weld Operations Supervisor – 1st Shift Janesville, WI | Monday–Thursday | 4:00am–2:00pm | OT as Needed Lead from the floor. Drive performance. Build strong teams. United Alloy is hiring a 1st Shift Operations Supervisor to lead production in our state-of-the-art Welding Department in Janesville, WI. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, accountability, and hitting daily production goals in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. What You’ll DoLead and develop weld production teams on the shop floor Set daily production goals and hold teams accountable Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met Be present on the floor — remove barriers and support your team Coordinate across shifts to maintain production flow Review timekeeping, approve PTO, and manage attendance Support training, coaching, and progressive discipline when needed Drive continuous improvement in welding and fabrication operations What You Bring6+ years of production leadership experience Experience in metal fabrication and/or welding operations preferred Strong understanding of shop floor production environments Ability to read blueprints and use basic shop tools Experience working with overhead cranes (preferred) Strong communication and accountability mindset Proven leadership in driving performance and culture Education: High School Diploma or GED required | Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred Why United Alloy?4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday) Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses Medical, dental & vision 401(k) with company match Generous RTO & vacation policy Paid training & company holidays United Alloy is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom metal tanks, skids, trailers, and heavy fabrications — proudly Made in the USA and ISO 9001 certified.
