This position is a hands-on field role responsible for executing mitigation and restoration tasks in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow within a structured restoration environment. Participation in an on-call rotation is required. Key Responsibilities: Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke cleanup Assess damage conditions and identify appropriate mitigation methods Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment Accurately document job details, processes, and equipment usage Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members Follow company safety policies, OSHA standards, and industry best practices Assist with inventory control, equipment upkeep, and ongoing training initiatives Deploy for regional or out-of-area storm events as required Support other departments during catastrophic events when needed Required Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on restoration experience (water, fire, mold) Strong customer service and communication skills Restoration software experience (Xactimate, Encircle, Proven Jobs, XactAnalysis, etc.) Preferred Vendor Program experience strongly desired Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset Valid driver's license and clean driving record Willingness to work 40-50+ hours per week, including nights/weekends Must pass background check Physical Requirements: Medium to heavy physical labor; lifting up to 75-100 lbs Ability to climb ladders up to 40', crawl, bend, and work in confined spaces Exposure to fire-, water-, mold-, and storm-damaged environments About DryCor Restore:DryCor Restore, a Showalter Family Company, is a veteran-owned, full-service restoration firm delivering professional mitigation and restoration services throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
