Our team is looking for a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to play a key role in our Imaging Services Department. Position Overview: As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to help in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. You'll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, operating sophisticated imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scans, and more, all while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities: Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Conduct radiologic imaging procedures (e.g., X-rays, CT scans) to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Operate Imaging Equipment: Use state-of-the-art imaging technology to capture clear, accurate images for medical analysis. Ensure Patient Safety: Follow strict protocols for patient positioning and safety during imaging procedures. Assist with Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients, explaining procedures and making them feel comfortable during their visit. Maintain Equipment: Regularly maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic results. Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Licensing: Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or ability to obtain ARRT certification within 6 months of hire. Experience: Prior experience in a clinical imaging environment is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
