Backend Application Engineer - Django/Python

The position is part of a fast-paced software development team. They will assist in software development and maintenance of the current product suite by participating actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle. They should have strong Django and Python development skills. They will work with analysts, developers and managers as part of project development. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Required Skills - Django, Python Job Duties - Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including but not limited to helping finalize functional specification(s), articulating and implementing scalable designs and providing deployment support. Design, develop/debug and unit/integration test programs in Django and Python and ensure all code written is compliant. Measure, review and forecast project status and remediate project risks by actively working with the project team. Expected to take a primary role in addressing project challenges that affect software development by escalating appropriately. Job Requirements - - 5+ years experience as a backend Django/Python developer - Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical degree - Agile delivery experience Desired Skills & Experience - React, iOS, Android Required Skills : Python Additional Skills : Software Developer
