Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region, providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs. This role involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for acutely ill patients, utilizing critical thinking and sound judgment within established protocols. Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers professional care, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity and excellence of care. Responsibilities include accurate documentation, patient-specific care planning within 24 hours of admission, and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and protocols. Provide timely and accurate information to healthcare providers to support patient care. Document patient care activities including vital signs, medications, and intake/output meticulously. Develop individualized care plans and ensure compliance with nursing standards and legal requirements. Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and ongoing training to foster teamwork and professional growth. Engage in special projects and additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience Graduation from an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of one year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred. Recent telemetry or cardiac nursing experience of one year or more preferred. Licenses and Certifications Current, unrestricted nursing license in Washington State. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care principles. Ability to apply age-specific growth and development principles to patient care. Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance. Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications. Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position involves 12-hour night shifts within a 40-hour workweek. Physical demands include frequent lifting, carrying, standing, walking, and other activities typical of acute care nursing.
