About the Facility: Cumberland Valley Surgery Center Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is the longest-active multispecialty, same-day surgery center in the Hagerstown area. Advances in anesthesia and surgical techniques have promoted the rapid growth of surgical procedures that can be performed in an outpatient basis and have made surgery centers a safe, cost-effective, and convenient alternative to hospital care. Facility Address: 1110 Professional Ct #100, Hagerstown, MD 21740 Position Overview - 12-week contract Case Mix Credentialing Hours/Stipend Info Other General Ortho Endo Neuro 7 days -8 or 10-hour shifts available - No call - No OT expected -Lodging: $110/day -Car rental: $250/week # OR rooms: 3 NO supervision MDs doing their own cases Charting system: iPro CRNA - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed CRNA - REQUIREMENTS Have graduated from an accredited program in nurse anesthesia education. Must be certified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Shall be licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in the state of Maryland. Have at least one full year (12 months) of experience as a CRNA. Possess BLS and ACLS certification.
