Note: This role is primarily remote, and will require on site meetings at our Mooresville, NC facility regularly The Director, Enterprise Platforms leads and executes the strategy, delivery, and day-to-day operations of SCN BestCo's enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, and the Power Platform. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic direction with direct platform administration and development work in the SharePoint and Power Platform environments while also building and managing a high-performing team. The Director, Enterprise Platforms defines governance and security standards, drives adoption, and partners with business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that improve productivity, streamline processes, and support digital transformation. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the strategy for enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms, including Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, and the Power Platform. Lead the administration, configuration, and operational support of Microsoft 365 / O365 services and governance. Manage the development and deployment of Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to support business process automation and analytics. Oversee CRM strategy and operations, with preference for Salesforce experience; support CRM selection, implementation, integration, and adoption. Establish platform governance, security standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and data protection. Drive platform adoption and training through stakeholder engagement, enablement programs, and change management. Collaborate with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity teams to ensure platform integrations and configurations align with security and IT standards. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of platform administrators, developers, and analysts. Evaluate new tools and technologies in the Microsoft ecosystem and recommend adoption where it aligns with business goals. Partner with business leaders to translate needs into scalable platform solutions and measurable outcomes. Able to perform SharePoint Administrator duties and support site architecture, permissions, governance, and ongoing maintenance as needed. Able to develop and support Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to meet business requirements, stepping in directly on key initiatives. Provide hands-on support for platform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident resolution when required. Assist with SharePoint customizations, workflows, and integrations as needed to support business processes. Maintain platform documentation, standards, and best practices for SharePoint and Power Platform administration and development. Travel required approximately 6-8 weeks per year (typically 2 weeks each quarter) to company facilities and key business locations for stakeholder engagement, team collaboration, and project delivery. People Leader Responsibilities This position carries out People Leader responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: Manage, coach, hire, train, and develop a team of IT professionals. Ensure continuous development of the Enterprise Platforms team. Recommend personnel actions (pay adjustments, promotions, transfers, terminations, etc.). Conduct performance reviews and manage individual performance. Communicate personnel actions following human resources (HR) and department head approval. Ensure safety and quality standards are enforced and met. Partner with HR to interview/screen potential new hires. Organize training and development opportunities for direct reports. Oversee team and individual employee professional development. Required QualificationsEducation & Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field, or commensurate work experience. 12 years' relevant technical experience such as IT platform administration, collaboration tools, or enterprise applications. 10 years' progressive leadership experience including managing teams and delivering platform solutions. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs): Deep expertise in Microsoft 365/O365, including Teams and SharePoint administration, configuration, and governance. Strong experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI (development or governance). Proven ability to define and implement platform governance, security, and lifecycle management. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience driving adoption and change management. Experience leading teams and managing vendors/partners. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver scalable platform solutions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal staff and management. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Must be able to demonstrate practical problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Power Platform certifications). Experience working in regulated or highly governed environments. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
