Cemetery Maintenance Specialist

Title: Cemetery Maintenance Specialist Location: Marietta, GA 30060 Job Type: Temporary/Contract (6 months) Shift: M-F standard shift (overtime as needed) Pay Rate: XX17.00 hourly on W2 Note: Employee benefits may include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), a 401(k)-retirement plan, and paid sick leave, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and company policy. Job Responsibilities Participate in openings and closings for burials, entombments, inurnments, and disinterments. Install and assemble foundations, memorials, and markers. Install outer burial containers. Handle and complete work orders from client families related to individual grave and marker maintenance; respond to service requests. Conduct Interment Verification Procedures and prepare a 25foot radius around graves-ensuring the area is clean and neat. Fill graves, tamp soil, seed or lay sod as needed. Adhere to all company safety rules and Universal Precautions. Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities. Keep work area clean and orderly. Complete required training-particularly Dignity University courses and uphold the Dignity Memorial Promise. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
