Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing both standardized assessments and observational strategies. Create tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing both short-term goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that focus on communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to devise comprehensive care strategies. Provide education to patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical sessions. Perform occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing a continuous care path throughout the treatment journey. Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Keep abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills Mastery of evidence-based treatment techniques for all age groups, along with a deep understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Ability to modify therapy methods to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical judgment and the ability to problem-solve effectively. Familiarity with electronic medical records and required documentation standards.
