Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a respected manufacturer in the Elkhart area to hire an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire role. This position is ideal for someone with strong electrical, hydraulic press, and schematic troubleshooting skills looking for long-term stability and growth. Schedule & Pay: Shift: 2nd Shift, Full-Time Pay: $27.00 per hour Attendance Bonus: Earn an additional $2.00 per hour for perfect attendance Direct-Hire Opportunity - join the company's team immediately (not through a temp-to-hire process)Job Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and skilled repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic presses, motors, cylinders, and related equipment. Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to diagnose and correct issues. Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and maintain equipment reliability. Maintain 5S standards and promote a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Perform occasional building and facility maintenance (painting, minor repairs, groundskeeping).Qualifications: Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic systems, and reading schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience. Able to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other shop equipment safely. Capable of lifting 50-75 lbs and working on your feet throughout the shift. Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.
