Position Specific SummaryThis position is for the 2026 - 2027 academic year and will begin in August. The GWServes Ambassador(s) for the Nashman Center are an essential role for the success of the database transition process. GWServes allows students, student organizations, departments, and local partners to search and share service opportunities and reflect on community impact. Each ambassador will contribute to connecting, engaging, and energizing Nashman Center stakeholders. On the platform, GWServes Ambassadors will support efforts to build out and enhance subgroup, class, and community partner pages on GWServes. In addition, as a GWServes Ambassador, you will assist with motivating the GW community to adapt to GWServes and socializing the campus community towards a culture of community engagement. Standard Position Description The student will serve as an administrative assistant and perform tasks to support the operations of the the office or department. Tasks may include: assembling materials, filing, photocopying, giving directions or information, responding to phone or email inquiries, scanning and/indexing documents, light data entry, and other general office tasks. Special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.
