This position includes rotating 12-hour night shifts. Responsibilities: Provide care for ICU/PCU overflow patients with ratios of 2:1 for ICU and 4-5:1 for PCU. Assist providers with bedside procedures including chest tube insertion and intubations. Perform bedside shift reports, nurse leader rounding, and collaboration with a relief charge nurse. Requirements: Experience in a large facility's Medical ICU with skills in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management. Advanced skills in ventilator management and critical care pharmacology, including IV sedation and central line management. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS.
