TITLE: Executive Assistant POSITION TYPE:Full-Time, Salaried Position, At-Will, Exempt Position SUPERVISOR: Executive Director POSITION SUMMARY: The Executive Assistant is responsible for completing all administrative tasks as requested by the Executive Director. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for completing administrative tasks for senior managers (Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief of Policy and Programs, and General Counsel). The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office of the Executive Director. SALARY: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 (Depending on Experience) ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Perform administrative duties for the Executive Director Perform administrative tasks for senior managers Managing calendars and schedules for the Executive Director and senior managers Assist the Executive Director in coordinating the Board of Directors' meetings Coordinate ordering meals, meal delivery, and set up of meeting space and meals for the board meetings Coordinate transportation for board member(s) to and from board meeting as needed Identify and reserve off-site locations for board retreats. Manage day-to-day operations of the office of the Executive Director Serve as the backup to the front desk receptionist as needed/instructed Manage, or assist with, special projects as assigned Order and track the use of office supplies for the Executive Director and senior managers Manage logistics and payments for training and travel for the Executive Director and senior managers Serving as a liaison between the Executive Director, senior managers, and internal/external partners Other duties as assigned, as deemed appropriate QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required, though persons who feel they meet some but not all criteria are encouraged to apply. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS College Degree, related work experience in administrative work, or completion of a District of Columbia Government career/education program. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent communication skills, to include the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally to a wide range of audiences (customers, co-workers, managers, the public, stakeholders, etc.), face-to-face, virtually, or via telephone or other communication devices to elicit information Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar suites, inclusive of using Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the use of database systems Outstanding organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time Ability to conduct self-directed work as well as function well as part of a team Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while still paying great attention to details Ability to work as scheduled and/or required APPLICATION PROCESS Apply for this position through the TCP Career Center Your response to this job announcement may be considered for other similar available positions within The Community Partnership.
