Duties/Responsibilities: Assemble heavy machinery, fabricated metal products. Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to build to specification. Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks. Check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Relevant experience with heavy machinery assembly. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Previous experience operating hand tools. Ability to read a tape measure. Detail-oriented, consistent workmanship. Works well as a productive member of a team. Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed including bending, stooping, and reaching. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination. Must wear safety glasses, face shield, gloves, and ear protection.
