Calibration Engineer - Benchmarking

Description: Investigate competitor vehicle's emission control system including evap systems and perform competitor benchmarking to evaluate emission performance Investigate competitor's OBD systems through repair manual survey and/or vehicle evaluation Rent and prepare competitor vehicles for benchmarking tests, including necessary modifications and instrumentation Test preparation, data collection, data analysis, and technical report creation on a regular basis Build successful relationships with benchmarking technician group, countergroups in Japan, and external labs. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders Complete required internal training necessary for job execution (Technical, Driving, etc.)Perform software logic and value confirmation activities Coordinate with suppliers and external labs for testing and benchmarking activities Monitor and interpret regulation trends and future directions from EPA, CARB, and other regulatory bodies to drive benchmarking activities
