Job Title: Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer - Onsite Role Location: Frisco, TX & CA Project Duration: 12 months Work Arrangement: Work from Client Office - 5 days a week Interview: Three rounds of Video interview Job Description: Infrastructure Background Experience : In addition to the existing responsibilities, you will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure architectures, including: Hypervisor and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox). Storage systems and network architecture (e.g., SAN, NAS, load balancers). Data center infrastructure, including power and cooling systems. E xperience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL). Roles & Responsibilities: Implement landing zones, VPC/VNet networking, IAM, and security baselines. Provision and configure compute, storage, and database services using IaC. Develop and maintain pipeline automation for app and infrastructure deployments. Design and package applications with latest containerization and orchestration. Configure logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting - apply SRE practices. Produce cost-and-capacity reports with FinOps tooling. Produce well-structured design documents, diagrams, and hand-over guides. Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure architectures, including hypervisor and virtualization technologies, storage systems, network architecture, and data center infrastructure. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related experience in the field. 10 years experience in cloud solutions on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency with Terraform or equivalent IaC tool and a one scripting language. Working knowledge of container runtime fundamentals. Experience building CI/CD pipelines and integrating DevSecOps controls Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks and incident-management processes. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills. Cloud certifications on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with serverless services ( Lambda, Cloud Functions), event-driven architectures ( SNS/SQS, Event Hub, Pub/Sub), and microservice patterns. Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI) and security hardening. Exposure to data-platform services and AI/ML tooling. Infrastructure background experience, including hypervisor and virtualization technologies, storage systems, network architecture, and data center infrastructure.
