Advanced Facility Technician

We are seeking a reliable Advanced Facility Technician to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for staff, clients, and visitors. This role involves routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of buildings and grounds across multiple locations in the Central Plains region of the United States. Essential Responsibilities Perform maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and minor repairs using hands-on experience. Apply versatile maintenance skills to complete tasks efficiently while minimizing disruption to daily operations. Use company vehicles safely to travel between sites or run errands related to facility upkeep. Maintain inventory of tools and supplies necessary for routine maintenance work. Identify when specialized expertise is needed and coordinate with appropriate technicians or vendors. Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain professional communication and relationships with patients, clients, team members, contractors, and external agencies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education, Experience, and Requirements Required: Hands-on experience in a variety of maintenance tasks. Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements if driving is necessary. Preferred: Experience in maintenance within business, facility, or organizational settings. Skills and Abilities Comfortable applying general maintenance skills across multiple disciplines. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Self-directed with the ability to follow instructions. Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects as needed. Physical Requirements Occasional heavy work involving exertion up to 100 lbs and frequent exertion up to 20 lbs. Standing or walking for 51-75% of the workday is expected.
