You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Lead Fabrication Associate.Schedule: M-F 5:00am-1:30pm (OT possible/ Occasional Saturdays required)Responsibilities Prioritize workflow through the shop and use all resources to implement tasks efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines Identify all tools required for tasks Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks Responsible for performance metrics, process improvement, and lean thinking Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications Install valves, hangers, supports, flanges inside piping system according to plans, and applicable specifications Perform test to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment Qualifications 1+ years of direct supervisory/management experience as a job site foreman, fab shop supervisor, or project manager 5+ years experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry preferred Welding or fabrication experience is required Illustrate detailed knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills Previous experience in Fire Protection/ Fire Suppression contracting or process piping industry with pipe fitting processes preferred Must have good problem-solving abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with individual contributors, teams, peers, and leadership Must be able to work occasional weekends At Ferguson, we care for each other. Pay Range: $22.31 - $35.71 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
