At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow.Jacobs is partnering with the State of California on the California Delta Conveyance Program (DCP)-a transformative, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure program designed to improve long-term water supply reliability for Central California.We are seeking an experienced Digital Delivery Leader to help shape and deliver the program's digital vision across planning, design, and construction. This is a unique opportunity to lead digital delivery at program scale, influencing how major infrastructure is designed, built, and managed for decades to come.The DCP includes two pump stations, approximately 45 miles of tunnel, and extensive supporting infrastructure including power, roads, and communications. Delivery will occur through 25-30 construction packages over the next 10+ years, requiring strong leadership, collaboration, and innovation.Your ImpactAs the Digital Delivery Leader, you will play a critical role in advancing digital engineering, BIM, and information management strategies that support project certainty, collaboration, and data-driven decision making. You'll work closely with program leadership, designers, contractors, and technology teams to ensure digital delivery is consistent, compliant, and forward-looking across the entire program lifecycle.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage BIM and digital delivery across a major infrastructure program from design through construction. Develop and implement program-wide digital delivery and information management strategies, ensuring alignment with program systems and long-term operational needs. Champion the use of data-driven workflows, automation, AI, and digital twin technologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and insight. Oversee and coordinate consultant and contractor BIM compliance, ensuring deliverables meet program standards and contractual requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for all digital delivery and BIM-related matters across the program. Support procurement by assessing digital delivery capability of bidders and tenderers. Manage and maintain federated models to support coordination, technical reviews, and data utilization. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing digital delivery team in support of the Program Management Office (PMO). Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coordination of training across BIM, digital engineering, and design automation disciplines. Support configuration and adoption of digital collaboration platforms and construction management systems. Integrate BIM and digital delivery with GIS, project controls, and other program management systems to enable consistent, high-quality information and reporting. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive experience in BIM management and digital delivery. Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in water, transportation, or heavy civil sectors. Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to remain hands-on when required. Proficiency with Autodesk and Bentley design and delivery platforms. Ideally, you'll also have: Experience supporting construction and handover phases. Industry accreditations (e.g., buildingSMART, AGC, GIBB/GIBA, or similar).
