The OpportunityTotal Rewards Benefits Analyst The Total Rewards Benefits Analyst plays a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and employee-focused benefits and leave programs. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of U.S. benefits and leave offerings, including enrollments, life events, leaves of absence, and employee support. Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, the role partners closely with Payroll, HR, and external brokers and vendors to ensure smooth operations, accurate deductions and billing, and timely issue resolution. The analyst also supports audits, reconciliations, and compliance activities while identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience. This role is ideal for a hands-on benefits professional who enjoys operational ownership, problem-solving, and serving as a trusted resource for employees and internal partners. Your role: Your responsibilities as a Benefits Analyst will include: Being bold and curious - identify and pursue new business opportunities, push beyond the obvious, and experiment with fresh approaches to expand the client portfolio. Owning the outcomes - establish and maintain long-term partnerships with clients, negotiate B2B contracts with integrity, and see initiatives through to delivery. Being better together - collaborate with the HAYS delivery team, share knowledge, and represent the organization at networking events to build stronger connections. Championing the customer - understand client needs, align solutions, and proactively drive value through cross-selling and strategic engagement. What you'll need to succeed: To be successful as a Benefits Analyst, you need to own the day-to-day administration of U.S. benefits and leave programs, partnering closely with Payroll and vendors to deliver accurate, compliant, and employee-focused experiences. Ideal for a hands-on benefits professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and being a trusted resource for employees. What you'll bring: 3-5 years in benefits, leave administration, or a related HR discipline. Strong understanding of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and ACA. Experience with UKG, ADP, or similar HRIS platforms. Clear, approachable communicator with a strong service mindset. High attention to detail and accuracy. Able to manage recurring processes and competing priorities. Comfortable working with brokers, carriers, and vendors. Preferred CEBS, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification.
