LHH is partnering with a unique company in Seattle, WA to identify a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist for their team. You will be handling full cycle AP tasks and be working directly with the Controller to complete any special projects. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting experience and be able to communicate professionally with vendors and internal customers. This position is full-time in office where you will work with a friendly, supportive team. Responsibilities: Process and verify invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies by communicating with vendors and internal departments. Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and payment runs as scheduled. Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation. Assist with month-end closing by providing AP reports and supporting schedules to the Controller. Support special accounting projects and contribute to process improvements as assigned by management. Qualifications: Minimum of two years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable. Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of invoices accurately. Excellent communication skills for professional interaction with vendors and internal stakeholders. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive, in-office team environment.
