Description Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, utilizing established assessments and in-depth observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans that target immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing competencies. Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy sessions centered on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing rehabilitation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure cohesive and holistic care approaches. Provide informative education to patients and their families, enabling continued progress outside of clinical visits. Perform occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. Maintain thorough documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development through continued education and collaboration with colleagues. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if yet to obtain ASHA certification. Certifications State license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of hiring. Skills Expertise in evidence-based methodologies for all age groups, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
