Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications: Associate degree in Ultrasound or higher from an accredited two-year college or technical school. Required certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Required certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Vascular Sonographer (VS). Credentialed in at least one of the following specialties: Abdomen (AB) Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC, required prior to start date.
