Description Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational strategies. Craft tailored treatment plans that encompass both immediate targets and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions addressing areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing strategies. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop coherent care plans. Provide education for patients and their families to enable progress beyond the clinical environment. Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the therapeutic journey. Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in lifelong learning through continuous education and teamwork with peers in the field. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. A completed supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is yet to be obtained. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities suitable for all age groups, coupled with a robust understanding of developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal skills for direct communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Capability to modify therapy practices to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical acumen and adept problem-solving skills.
