Job Title: Anesthesiologist Position Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our growing team. This full-time position offers flexibility in scheduling, with or without call responsibility. Case types will vary based on facility needs. You would have the opportunity to work in a major trauma center and/or two outpatient surgical hospitals. One of which was recognized as a center of Excellence in Anesthesia! Key Responsibilities Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across various surgical specialties Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and formulate anesthetic plans Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and respond to any complications Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs and other team members as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation Uphold high standards for patient safety, ethics, and clinical excellence Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing education Typical Case Types Include: Trauma Orthopedics General Surgery GI Procedures ENT Outpatient Procedures Qualifications M.D. or D.O. with completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program Board Certified in Anesthesiology Active and unrestricted Louisiana Medical License Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications Current DEA/Narcotic License Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
