Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Inspector Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) Location: Henrico, VA Pay: $25.25/hour The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing visual inspections, using mechanical measuring tools, and verifying product quality against engineering drawings and specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining product consistency and supporting a culture of quality on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities: Perform visual inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products. Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, oscilloscopes, etc.) to ensure products meet specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to verify quality requirements. Document inspection results accurately and report non-conformances. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration is up to date. Follow safety and quality procedures at all times. Qualifications: Prior experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a similar role. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency with mechanical measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and basic test equipment (oscilloscopes). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
