Position Type: Student Teacher or Intern/School Psychologist Intern Date Posted: 1/13/2026 Location: District 62 Schools Date Available: 08/2026 Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a full-time School Psychologist Intern for the 2026-2027 school year. Mission: The mission of District 62 is to cultivate an inclusive, innovative learning environment that inspires students to explore robust academics, advance their potential and to be compassionate lifelong learners. District Information: District 62 has approximately 4,900 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school. Position Information: School Psychologist interns will assist in conducting psychological assessments within the academic, functional, cognitive, and social emotional domains as part of case study evaluations for special education and will actively participate in Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS) discussions. School Psychologist Interns will collaborate with building staff during problem solving meetings, engage in and support data collection and analysis, and work along team members to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans. The District provides placement at the PreK, K-5, and 6-8 grade levels with opportunities to experience the continuum of services available within the District. Bilingual experience is also available. Placement may be made at any District building. Qualifications: This position is available to any school psychologist candidate who is entering their final year of a certified school psychology program and has met all prerequisites to participate in the full-time school psychology internship. Compensation Information: $17,000 stipend This internship includes Board paid individual health benefits.
