Designer Drafter

We value people who are self-starters and problem solvers, love to work in culturally diverse teams, and are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.We currently have an opening for Design Drafter.DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERINGREPORTS TO: DIRECTOR of ENGINEERINGFUNCTION: Use AutoCAD and Inventor 3D, to design, layout, detail, and update pressure vessel designs per customer specifications.DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare new drawings per the design guidelinesUpdate old drawings per the design guidelinesDesign per our manufacturing capabilitiesInterpret quote and customer specifications for Product DesignWork with customers on questions and clarifications for ordersPrepare and send drawing approval packages to the customerFollow and maintain all drawing and departmental standards and ISO proceduresPrepare engineering change orders and engineering change requestsEnter data and maintain the parts in the ERP manufacturing systemAs assigned, train new personnelAnswer questions as generated by plant employees, supervisors, etc.Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Associate Degree in Mechanical Design1 year experience preferableExperience with 3D CAD modeling (Inventor preferred)
