As a Manufacturing Intern, you will apply your skills, utilize our systems, and work with a variety of raw materials to help produce the delicious products our consumers cherish. You will take charge of your area of focus, prioritizing the safety of yourself and your team while ensuring the production of highest quality products efficiently within our integrated supply chain. Your internship will concentrate on practical, value-added projects that will provide you with insights into how production operations drive value across our organization. Key Responsibilities: Achieve quality and process engineering targets while being accountable for assigned production line(s). Implement legal and corporate requirements to uphold food safety standards on assigned production line(s). Ensure product quality by conducting tests on raw materials, packaging, and finished products per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines. Optimize production schedules and collaborate with teams to meet business objectives and implement operational improvements. Lead cross-functional project teams, integrating technical and operational expertise. Analyze and summarize data, generating reports and recommendations for quality enhancements. Oversee corrective and preventive action programs and conduct root cause analysis for quality and operational advancements. Perform allergen validations, cleaning verifications, and coordinate sensory evaluations for assigned production lines. Manage the calibration program for laboratory equipment, including external lab testing and sampling processes. Research and suggest innovative analytical tools and techniques to enhance process reliability. Administer the hold and release protocols for raw materials, packaging, and finished products, addressing serious food safety complaints when necessary. Requirements and Preferred Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), Biology, Quality, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027. Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa.
