Part-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian Consultant (Onsite & Remote) Are you a passionate Registered Dietitian seeking a part-time opportunity that offers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community? RD Nutrition Consultants LLC invites you to join our team as we provide vital nutrition services to various locations. Position Details Hours: 8-10 hours per week Schedule: Flexible Compensation: $40.00-$46.00 per hour (based on experience) Travel Time: Compensated at the same hourly rate Mileage Reimbursement: Provided Service Area: 35 locations within a 20-minute radius of Stockton and Sacramento, CA Work Setting: Onsite clinical visits required Menu review and development may be completed remotely via telehealth Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews for high-risk individuals. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans. Provide nutrition education and counseling tailored to client needs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal nutrition care outcomes. Review and approve menus semi-annually to ensure compliance with USDA guidelines. Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions. Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned and within scope of practice. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (preferred). Experience reviewing menus for healthcare or community-based facilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to apply critical thinking to assess needs, develop goals, and implement effective nutrition interventions. Proficiency in general clinical nutrition. Familiarity with state survey processes and nutrition care regulations.
