Position Overview The Clinical Consultant, Medical Imaging is a key player in ensuring the success of Synapse PACS/MI projects by providing expert clinical consultations, workflow analysis, and comprehensive training. You will play a vital role in report configuration, conduct thorough end-to-end testing, and offer essential support during go-lives. Your clinical expertise will not only benefit our projects but also assist the sales team and other company personnel in utilizing our innovative products while adhering to quality standards. Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: Act as a trusted consultant for both customers and company personnel. Coordinate training events by establishing appropriate contacts within HCUS and at customer sites. Provide ongoing support for application-related issues and image quality concerns at both product and system levels. Collaborate closely with interpreting physicians, clinicians, and other professionals to ensure optimal operation of Fujifilm products. Develop and maintain documentation to support customer training initiatives. Offer additional training and consultation services for a fee, contributing to Professional Services revenue goals. Engage with the HCUS team to secure customer acceptance of FUJIFILM Medical Systems solutions. Deliver teaching and training sessions to customers remotely or according to a travel schedule aligned with customer needs. Ensure compliance with all applicable quality management system standards. Maintain effective communication and working relationships with all HCUS departments (Service, Engineering, Integration, Customer Service, etc.). Follow all company quality and regulatory compliance requirements while performing job duties. Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Take corrective action as necessary. Participate in relevant professional organizations. Provide clinical support via telephone and remotely for customers, sales, and field service through our ON-Call Technical Assistance Center (TAC). Perform additional functions and responsibilities as assigned by management. Adhere to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and relevant laws. Fulfill vendor credentialing requirements to access hospitals and facilities as necessary. Qualifications: Professional Experience: 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in medical technology, computer science, PACS Administration, or the healthcare industry; experience in Cardiology or Radiology is a plus. (CV)Registered in one or more of the following is preferred: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) experience in various echocardiography methods. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) experience in non-invasive techniques. Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience. Registered Nurse with cardiac experience. ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist with digital imaging experience is preferred. Strong professional presence and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Experience in related fields, with healthcare or IT background being advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with end-users and clinical supervisors. Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated technical support abilities with strong troubleshooting skills. Adept at identifying workflow needs in relation to product features. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Education/Certification Requirements: An Associate's Degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant healthcare field is required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Special Skills and Other Requirements: Demonstrated experience in the IT/Healthcare field. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Effective communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Commitment to providing high-quality products and services. Ability to understand and apply appropriate quality management processes. Promote and adhere to company standards of business conduct. Continuous product knowledge maintenance. Customer satisfaction adherence. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for 75-100% of work time. Manual dexterity to operate necessary tools and technology, including keyboards. Ability to stand, speak, and listen for 75% of the work time. Capability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of the work time. Willingness to walk long distances and navigate stairs. Ability to see clearly at close range. Capacity to adapt to air pressure changes due to travel. Travel: Frequent travel (up to 75%) may be necessary based on business needs.
