Job Description Registered Nurse in Home Health Field Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5x 8-hour shifts Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding patient care by effectively utilizing the nursing process. Assess patient and family learning needs, implementing tailored educational strategies. Lead and manage nursing team resources, fostering collaboration within the interdisciplinary team. Utilize data and insights to drive change, aiming for optimal patient outcomes. Enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale through positive interactions and professional behavior. Customize your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring respect and clear communication. Perform additional duties as necessary to support the team and patient care objectives. Physical and Environmental Requirements: The physical demands of this position include lifting and moving objects ranging from 10 to 100 pounds, with a focus on safety and proper body mechanics. Routine exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and potential communicable diseases is a requirement of this job. Safety protocols are in place to minimize risk. If you join our healthcare team, be prepared to work in environments where you may handle hazardous medications or waste. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in your practicing state or a Compact License. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Home Health setting as an RN; 2 years preferred. Experience with HCHB EMR and OASIS start of care is required. A valid Driver's License and auto insurance are necessary. Education: Required - RN degree. Preferred - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Certifications: Current RN license in your state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient in using computers and software applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal abilities. Effective organizational and time management skills; self-direction is essential.
