Job Overview Tanaq Technical Services (TTS), a part of St. George Tanaq (SGT) Corporation, is a respected 8(a) Alaskan Native Small Business specializing in Enterprise Integrated Technology Solutions for the Federal Government. We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Full Stack Developer to support the housing sector through the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of the Chief Information Officer (HUD OCIO). This role involves creating, developing, and deploying innovative cloud applications that enhance customer experience and serve critical missions effectively. This position is fully remote, but candidates must be able to pass a federal background check and obtain a NACI clearance. Candidates must reside in the United States. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain full-stack cloud applications, covering frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations. Create prototypes and proofs of concept, transitioning successful projects to a production scale. Engage in Agile practices and participate in various project ceremonies. Assist in risk identification and provide inputs for status reporting and lessons learned. Develop and update technical documentation relevant to projects. Implement secure coding, automated testing, and CI/CD principles to uphold best practices. Work collaboratively with various teams to support technical reviews and deliver effective solutions. Necessary Skills and Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Proven experience in Agile methodologies with CI/CD and DevSecOps. Expertise in frontend development using React.js and experience with TypeScript. Backend experience in Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or .NET, including database management. Experience with cloud-native services and deploying applications on cloud platforms. Proficient in building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs and handling third-party services. Understanding of security and scalability best practices for applications. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST. Experience with AI/ML APIs and building applications that utilize LLMs, embeddings, and related architectures. Ability to integrate AI into workflows and maintain compliance with AI governance and data management standards. Experience in federal environments is advantageous, with HUD OCIO experience preferred. Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Technical Skills Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#. Frontend: React (preferred), Angular, or Vue. Backend: Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET Core, or Django/FastAPI. Data Management: SQL/NoSQL experience (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB). Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of serverless architectures and container management. CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins. Security Practices: Knowledge of authentication, data protection, and secure coding principles. Core Competencies Strong problem-solving capabilities and system thinking. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. A collaborative mindset within Agile environments. A focus on documentation and continuous improvement. Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications are preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer-related tasks.
