Job Description: The Infrastructure Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining server, storage, and network hardware within a data center environment. This role ensures high availability of infrastructure systems through technical expertise, collaboration, documentation, and adherence to safety and operational standards. Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware issues on servers, storage systems, and network devices using industry-standard tools and methodologies. Perform repairs and replacement of faulty components including server hardware such as GPU, CPU, and motherboards. Repair and replace storage components including hard drives and SSDs. Repair and replace network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls. Manage and close support tickets in a timely manner with accurate and complete documentation. Participate in root cause analysis of complex technical issues within the data center environment. Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve escalated technical issues. Evaluate processes and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and quality. Monitor task queues, trouble ticketing systems, and chat-based repair requests to ensure timely resolution. Document all diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance activities within the ticketing portal. Manage inventory including receiving, installing, and tracking spare parts, RMA equipment, and network devices. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving technologies and repair methodologies. Follow safety procedures and compliance standards when working with electrical and mechanical equipment. Provide responsive and professional customer service to internal stakeholders. Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours and scheduled business-hour support. Travel up to 15 percent as needed to support data center operations, meetings, or training. Requirements: vailability to work a flexible 24x7x365 schedule including weekdays, weekends, rotating shifts, and overtime as required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting. Strong technical background in server hardware, storage systems, and network infrastructure. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. bility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. bility to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a data center environment with hands-on support of server hardware, storage systems, and network devices.
