Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician Location: Mid-Atlantic Division Job Type: Full-Time Travel: Up to 100% Salary: Hourly Range: $27.15 - $43.45 plus benefits per Collective Bargaining Agreement. Duties and Responsibilities: Dismantle and reassemble gasoline and diesel equipment using various hand tools and hoists. Repair and replace major components as well as damaged or worn parts. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment. Diagnose equipment failures and determine the extent of repairs needed. Identify necessary repair parts and supplies. Document all maintenance and repair work performed accurately. Record usage of parts and supplies. Access and repair components on heavy equipment, demonstrating agility and coordination. Climb onto, into, and out of equipment safely using ladders. Work on uneven surfaces with the ability to climb, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push/pull, and reach frequently. Ensure timely and quality completion of work as scheduled by the supervisor. Work productively in personal protective equipment throughout shifts in all weather conditions. Perform safety-sensitive tasks while adhering to Brandenburg’s environmental and safety policies. Demonstrate regular and predictable performance. Education / Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of heavy equipment repair experience. Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Responsible and safety-minded approach to all tasks. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for equipment malfunctions. Familiarity with testing equipment, tools, and gauges. Basic understanding of electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Able to read and implement mobile equipment maintenance manuals effectively. Must be able to pass a DOT Physical. Commercial Driver’s License is preferred or the ability to obtain one. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Post Locations: OK, PA, NJ, TX, GA, AL, MO, KY, TN, FL, OR, VA, SC.
