Title: Travel RN Department: Non-Clinical LOCATION: Braintree, MA / Quincy, MA Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Traveling Nurse Consultant. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to provide support and consultation to healthcare facilities and organizations across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different healthcare environments. Responsibilities: Consultation: Provide guidance and expertise to healthcare facilities on best practices, compliance with regulations, and quality improvement initiatives. Education and Training: Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare staff on topics such as infection control, patient safety, and emergency preparedness. Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote patient-centred care. Quality Assurance: Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the quality of patient care and identify areas for improvement. Risk Management: Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and mitigate risks related to patient safety and healthcare operations. Project Management: Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving healthcare outcomes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of consultations, training sessions, and project activities. Travel: Travel to different healthcare facilities as required, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in acute care settings. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to different work environments.
