Your Role: Senior Director of Product Management As the Senior Director of Product Management for Cengage School, you will drive the development and execution of product strategies to enhance learning experiences. This role demands a collaborative spirit and a passion for digital transformation in a dynamic environment. You will lead a talented team of product managers and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with organizational leaders and customers to align product strategies with business goals and customer outcomes. Mentor your team in implementing continuous discovery practices to identify customer needs and innovation opportunities. Team Development: Build and manage a high-performing team of product managers who operate as mini-CEOs for their respective products. Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture while aligning with best practices in product management. Prioritization of Initiatives: Focus on initiatives that deliver measurable customer impact and business value. Transition from an output-focused approach to an outcome-driven prioritization model. Data-Driven Insights: Establish metrics to evaluate product and team performance. Continuously assess product outcomes and ensure accountability for results, advocating for necessary investments when needed. Vision Alignment: Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to unify efforts toward achieving a cohesive product vision. Essential Skills: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 12+ years of experience in product management. Proven success in developing and executing effective product strategies. Experience in leading and motivating distributed teams. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Successful experience in launching and scaling innovative products. Analytical mindset and a data-driven approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Compensation Overview At Cengage Group, we take pride in offering a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees. The compensation for this role ranges from $163,100.00 to $180,000.00, with an annual bonus target of 30%, dependent on individual and company performance.
