Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nephrology Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - FS Job Details:• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex• Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required• Charge experience is a huge plus• Must be familiar with central line care and management• Foley care and management experience required• End of life care and management experience needed• Knowledge of nephrology care including proper dialysis site care• Must understand HD catheter protocols and fistula management for blood draws• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients• Administer medications as prescribed• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel• Delegate tasks to support staff• 1 year of nursing experience required• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required• Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License required• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required• Strong verbal and written communication skills needed• Computer skills required Facility:This major academic medical center serves as a premier healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
