Required Skills: MD or DO from an accredited medical school with current licensure in Maryland Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid DEA and state medical licenses Experience managing obstetric emergencies and routine deliveries Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Knowledge of current obstetric care protocols and practices Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience as a hospitalist or in a similar inpatient obstetric setting Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years' experience in obstetrics, preferably in hospitalist role Prior locum experience is advantageous but not mandatory Other Requirements: Availability to work during weekends starting from December 31, 2025 Valid medical license and certifications up to date Ability to travel if required and comply with all hospital credentialing processes Enjoy a competitive hourly pay rate of $195.00, along with weekly pay via direct deposit.
