About the Job Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional (LMHC or LCSW) to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to children with emotional disturbances and adults experiencing mental health challenges. This role involves direct clinical work, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and positive client outcomes. Minimum Requirements:Education: Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or a related human services field. Licensure: Current and valid LMHC or LCSW license. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of work experience with the behavioral health population, including children and adults with mental health needs. Knowledge: Working knowledge of ICD-9 and DSM-V diagnostic systems. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities with the capacity to develop trusting relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with staff and management. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Provide direct behavioral health interventions including in-depth and brief assessments, treatment planning, and individual or group counseling for mental health and substance use disorders. Develop interpretive summaries of treatment needs to assist in diagnosis formulation and therapeutic recommendations. Review and approve client treatment plans and periodic reviews developed by clinical staff to ensure goals and objectives are appropriate and achievable. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to promote coordinated care and client progress. Deliver behavioral health services in accordance with participating school policies when serving child clients. Monitor, document, and evaluate client progress and treatment outcomes. Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and agency standards in all aspects of service delivery. Complete all required documentation accurately and within mandated timeframes to meet federal, state, and agency compliance. Participate in staff training, professional development, and supervision sessions as required. Conduct peer reviews and administrative audits of clinical documentation, ensuring prompt corrective actions when needed. Uphold all CRC Internal Control and Clinical Policies, including procedural protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO or Clinical Director within the scope of agency policy.
