Job Position: Cherry Picker Operator Location: Justin, TX Pay Rate: $17.25 Shift: 1st Shift - 5:30am-2:00pm Description: Stride Staffing has partnered with a telecommunications provider in Justin, TX. We are urgently hiring Equipment Operators which include the Sit-down, Cherry-picker, and the High Reach Truck. Employees are responsible for performing various tasks within a warehouse or distribution center, including materials handling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse processes. All candidates are required to take a drug test at a lab and able to pass a criminal background check. Please be sure you meet the requirements within the job description.This is a resume-based position please attach it when applying.Criminal background check and a drug screening at a clinic are requiredKey Responsibilities:Unloading shipments: Receiving and unloading merchandise from delivery trucks Moving product safely and efficiently using either a sit-down, cherry picker or high reach forklift Verification: Checking incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure quantity and item accuracy Quality control: Inspecting items for damage or defects and reporting discrepancies Sorting and storing: Properly sorting and placing received items in designated storage areas within the warehouse Inventory management: Updating inventory records with accurate information about received goods Labeling: Labeling products with necessary information for inventory tracking Data entry: Entering details of received shipments into computer systems Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the receiving area organized and clean RF Scanner Skills and Qualifications:Proven and recent forklift experience on a sit-down, cherry picker and turret (we can train on the turret but either the sit-down or cherry picker is required) Physical ability: Ability to lift heavy boxes and stand for extended periods Basic computer skills: Familiarity with inventory management systems for data entry Organization skills: Efficiently sorting and storing products in designated locations Math skills: Accurately calculating quantities and verifying numbers on packing slips Teamwork: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth receiving process INTERVIEW HOURS/DETAILS:We conduct open interviews from the hours of 8:30am -10:30am Monday - Friday.
