Join the Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area team as a Maintenance Engineer, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our Somerville, MA property. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve potential issues.Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.Collaborate with management and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption.Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Requirements Minimum of (2) years experience in building maintenance or engineering roles.Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.Ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment efficiently.Good communication and organizational skills.Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, weekends and holidays.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
