Our Community Resource Center is seeking a WIC Program Assistant that will:Ensure participants meet program eligibility by reviewing required documentation Schedule appointments for participants Provide and document referrals for participants Assist with follow-up for missed appointments, special requests, and misplaced benefit cards Attend and participant in mandatory and other appropriate training as directed by WIC Program Manager. Greet and intake all onsite participants, notify staff of waiting appointments and customer needs. Maintain confidentiality within the waiting room space. Ensure all WIC and Local Agency policies and procedures are always adhered to Candidate Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Prior experience in a WIC program preferred Prior experience in a clerical position or medical office setting required A valid and clear driver's license required Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without the need for Visa Sponsorship Other Benefits Include: Competitive Hourly Rate Offered--->$22/hr Full time-35/hrs. per week Mondays 7:30am-4pm/Tuesdays-Thursdays 9am-4pm-Fridays 7:30am-3:30pm Casual Dress Code Healthcare, Dental, and Vision Insurance (Flexible Spending/Dependent Care Accounts)Cash payment of three thousand dollars for waiving health insurance (FT)Telemedicine offered to staff Employee Assistance Program Optional 403(b) Retirement Plan12 paid holidays PTO/Sick time accrual When eligible, Employer Sponsored Pension Plan starting at 5% of salary contributionCEO qualifies eligible employees for the Federal School Loan Forgiveness Program Apply: Call: 518-272-6012, ext. 301 EOE/AA
