Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with experience in shipping, receiving, and packaging. You will play a crucial role in our production team, helping assemble and package products while ensuring accuracy and quality. Flexibility to learn different roles is essential as the position involves working across various functions.Responsibilities Work in shipping/receiving or on the production team, with flexibility to learn and perform different roles. Help assemble adhesives and package orders for customers. Cut rolls of fireproof tape to size as needed. Measure the correct ml amount of hardener and inject into glue products. Repackage glue, caulk, adhesives, and related materials. Maintain detailed records and ensure accuracy in measurement and weighing. Use tape measures and scales effectively. Pick and pack items up to 50lbs. Adhere to a strict no cell phone policy during work hours. Ensure attendance and punctuality. Essential Skills 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience. 6 months of packaging experience, including operation of wrapping equipment. Good math skills, including simple arithmetic and decimal calculations. Ability to measure and weigh accurately. Experience with UPS or Ship Gear package tracking system. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in warehouse operations, general labor, and material handling. Familiarity with hand tools and assembly line processes. Ability to compare numbers and read and write effectively. Good attitude and attention to detail. The dress code is business casual. The work hours are Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm, and Friday from 9am to 4pm, with a lunch break from 12:15pm to 1pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
