Job Title: Manufacturing Production Technician Job DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Production Technician, you will operate a variety of electric and pneumatic power tools, including circular saws, drills, grinders, and plasma cutters. You will also weld materials such as aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel, and operate machinery such as press brakes, shears, drill presses, and overhead cranes. This role involves physical activity, including crouching, bending, reaching, and walking.Responsibilities Operate electric and pneumatic power tools, including riveting guns, drills, grinders, and sanders. Perform welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel. Operate press brakes, shears, band saws, hydraulic iron workers, and overhead cranes. Conduct mechanical repairs and fabrication. Perform tasks that require physical stamina, such as lifting 10 to 50 lbs and standing for up to 10 hours per day. Essential Skills Proficiency in using power and pneumatic tools. Welding skills for aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to read a tape measure. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift weights. Additional Skills & Qualifications No required certifications, education, or experience. Join a team of 120 production employees, typically working in small groups. The dress code requires steel toe/composite boots, jeans, and short sleeves. Personal protective equipment, such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection, is provided by the company. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm or 3:15 pm to 1:45 am, and optional overtime on Saturdays.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marshalltown, IA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
