Job Type Full-time Description Job Title: Credit Analyst Job Type: Full-time Location: East Aurora Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data and assessing creditworthiness of potential, and existing commercial and consumer borrowers. The Credit Analyst will work closely with the lending team to ensure that all loans are properly underwritten and meet the company's credit standards. Duties Analyze financial information (tax returns, W-2s, financial statements, credit reports, etc.) to assess borrower creditworthiness Prepare credit proposals and present recommendations to the lending team Collaborate with Loan Officers to ensure loans meet company credit standards and policy requirements Assist with annual loan reviews and renewals, including collecting and evaluating customer financial information Maintain department tracking logs and prepare required reports Support Credit Department administrative tasks, special projects, and required training Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders Requirements Associate's degree in accounting, finance or related field strongly preferred but not required 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or related field (accounting, tax preparation, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and other relevant software Knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements preferred EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY POLICY STATEMENT It is the policy of the Bank to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, marital status, genetic predisposition or carrier status, national origin, age, physical or mental disability or status as a Vietnam-Era or special disabled veteran or any other legally protected status in accordance with applicable Federal and New York State laws unless a bona fide occupational qualification applies.
