The Role As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in setting technical direction across complex systems. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise-level network infrastructure. This position calls for advanced networking expertise paired with leadership and collaboration skills to ensure our network performs optimally while being secure and scalable. You will work alongside cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and create innovative solutions to address networking challenges while maintaining high availability and security standards. Location This is a Work From Home position available from any US-based location. Main Responsibilities Implement and oversee network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN) to ensure optimal performance and robust security. Configure and troubleshoot Data Center environments utilizing Cisco ACI and NXOS platforms. Monitor network performance with advanced diagnostic tools and make necessary adjustments for enhanced efficiency. Manage cloud network architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems. Provide high-level technical guidance and resolve escalated issues while contributing to a stable system environment and promoting knowledge sharing. Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with technology vendors and stakeholders to implement networking solutions that align with business goals. Utilize automation tools and scripts to streamline network deployment and operations. What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, with at least 5 years of enterprise-level support and design experience. Proven experience in designing and maintaining ACI and NXOS environments within Data Centers. Expertise in advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), virtual routing (VRFs), and network segmentation. Comprehensive knowledge of network hardware configuration and maintenance (Cisco, Arista, Juniper). Advanced understanding of TCP/IP principles, OSI model, and best practices in enterprise network architecture. Experience with cloud networking technologies and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), focusing on hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Ansible, JSON). Familiarity with enterprise network security systems, including next-generation firewalls and DDoS mitigation strategies. Understanding of network traffic load-balancing technologies. Compensation This position offers a competitive salary range based on national data. Actual pay may vary based on location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $103,711 - $138,281 for states including AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY. $108,896 - $145,195 for states including CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI. $114,082 - $152,109 for states including AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA.
